Advocating for Afghan Women and Children
Artfully Unforgotten recently debuted our short film "VOICES OF AFGHANISTAN" at Best Buy's Loft in Soho, New York, in December 2009. Thiis spring, we will be launching our book by the same title. Both the video and the book explore not only the difficulties which the women of Afghanistan face, but demonstrates their strength and hope as well. In addition, these materials will be used to raise funds for the women and children of Afghanistan.
The film and book are based upon interviews, photos and video obtained by Heather Metcalfe, Founder/Executive Director of Artfully Unforgotten in June 2009 during her visit to Mazar-e Sharif, Afghanistan.
